Paul Fox

Dr Fox is a Lecturer in  the Centre for Ultrasonics and Underwater Acoustics, Institute of Sound and Vibration Research, University of Southampton. Having gained a degree in Engineering Science from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Cybernetics from the University of Reading, he has concentrated on Biomedical applications of ultrasound, such as theoretical studies in support of programmes into safe and effective medical imaging.  Having worked at a number of Universities abroad (Oslo, Copenhagen, Toledo, Sydney and Tours), he is now established at Southampton on aspects of ultrasound and signal processing, with a particular interest in biomedical ultrasound and ocean acoustics.
